Moby Dick is a South Korean thriller that opens with a mysterious explosion at the Balam Bridge in Seoul on November 20th, 1994. Hot-blooded news reporter Lee Bang-Woo finds himself face-to-face with Yoon Hyeok, a childhood acquaintance he hasn't seen in years. Yoon Hyeok arrives bearing documents and a troubling revelation: the official account of the bridge explosion is a fabrication. As Lee Bang-Woo digs deeper into the conspiracy, he must navigate dangerous forces determined to keep the truth buried. The film explores themes of corruption, journalistic integrity, and the personal cost of uncovering secrets in a society built on lies.
