Nászinduló(1943)
Nászinduló is a Hungarian drama about two former lovers whose paths cross again years after social class kept them apart. Miklós, once a poor schoolboy, and Éva, the mayor's daughter, carry the weight of their first, unfulfilled love into adulthood. Now separated by family obligations and the weight of time, they must confront the feelings that never faded. The film explores how circumstance and duty can override desire, and whether second chances exist for those bound by memory and regret. Set against the backdrop of Hungarian society, Nászinduló examines the tension between personal longing and social expectation, asking what happens when two people are finally free to choose—but find themselves trapped by their own histories.
