Omelette(1998)

Omelette is a coming-of-age film about a young man who abandons his struggling screenplay to document his life on Super 8mm film. Frustrated with the written word, he turns his camera toward his parents and inner circle, using the intimate medium to capture candid moments and build toward a deeply personal revelation. As he films those closest to him, the project becomes a vehicle for confronting his own identity and preparing to disclose his homosexuality to the people who matter most. The film explores themes of self-expression, family dynamics, and the courage required to live authentically, all filtered through the warm, nostalgic grain of analog video.
