Oppa

Oppa is a drama film about Tien, a school teacher who falls for a man she meets online. When he tells her his mother is gravely ill and he needs to return to Korea urgently, Tien transfers him money to help. He promises to come back and marry her, then vanishes. Loan sharks soon appear at her school demanding repayment of the RM300,000 she borrowed to send him. Tien discovers the devastating truth: Oppa is a romance scammer who has left her financially ruined and emotionally devastated. The film explores the dangers of online relationships and the predatory tactics used by those who exploit trust and vulnerability for profit.
