Raid(2003)

Raid follows a mysterious drifter and ex-criminal who returns home after years abroad to discover his ex-girlfriend Tarja has died in what appears to be an accidental fire. When he learns the blaze was actually arson, he's drawn back into a darker world. An old acquaintance, Inspector Jansson, contacts him about a protester's murder. As Raid investigates both cases, he uncovers a web of corruption and deception far more complex than anyone realized. The film is a noir-tinged crime thriller that explores redemption and the past's inescapable grip.
