Risen(2010)

Risen is a biographical sports film following Howard Winstone, a promising young Welsh boxer from Merthyr Tydfil whose career is derailed when an industrial accident costs him three fingers on his dominant right hand. Refusing to accept defeat, Winstone adapts his fighting style and claws his way back through the amateur ranks before turning professional. With support from his family and guidance from trainer Eddie Thomas, he captures the British and European featherweight titles. Now, with his nation's hopes resting on him, Winstone prepares for his shot at the world championship. The film chronicles his remarkable determination to overcome a devastating injury and reclaim his place among boxing's elite.
