Saga(2016)

Saga is a horror film that follows a Black Metal music video director determined to shoot a Viking feature with his rocker and biker friends. While researching the Norse classic Eyrbyggja saga, the crew discovers an ancient zombie tale woven into the historical text. What begins as an ambitious indie production becomes a descent into genuine terror as the group finds themselves caught between filmmaking ambition and the supernatural forces lurking within Iceland's dark folklore. The film blends horror with dark comedy as these unconventional filmmakers confront both the practical challenges of their shoot and something far more sinister than they bargained for.
