Simla Special(1982)

Simla Special is a comedy film about two friends, Gopu and Babu, who run a theatrical troupe performing comedic plays. When Babu falls into financial trouble, the pair accepts a lucrative commission to stage a performance for the Tamil community in Shimla. The film follows their journey as they navigate the challenges of mounting a production in unfamiliar territory while trying to save their friend from financial ruin. What begins as a desperate business venture becomes an adventure filled with mishaps, cultural clashes, and unexpected humor as the troupe adapts their act for a new audience far from home.
