Some Boy(1917)

Some Boy is a comedy following Joyous Johnson, a college dropout who lands a job as a publicity agent at the Coronado Hotel. There he meets Marjorie Milbank, a sharp businesswoman in town to negotiate the sale of her Texas cattle ranch. Joyous falls hard for her, unaware that his father desperately needs that very ranch to save his failing packing house—and that Marjorie has already refused to sell. Caught between his budding romance and his family's financial crisis, Joyous must figure out how to win her heart without compromising his father's business.
