Status: Single is a romantic comedy about Doris, a 30-year-old woman racing against her biological clock to find a husband before it's too late. Convinced that spinsterhood equals misery, she pressures her best friend Randy into playing matchmaker. As Doris navigates the dating scene, she encounters three potential suitors: Hans, a charming Fil-Am bartender; Sean, an intellectual with substance; and Inaki, an insecure coworker. Through a series of romantic mishaps and comedic encounters, Doris begins to question whether marriage is truly the key to happiness, or if she's been chasing the wrong dream all along. The film explores themes of self-worth, societal expectations, and what it really means to build a fulfilling life.
