Wormtown is a horror film set one year into a plague of flesh-eating, mind-altering worms that has transformed the nocturnal town of Ashland, Ohio. Under the cult-like rule of Mayor Joshua, zealous Ranchers spread their parasitic gospel through persuasion and force. Three uninfected women survive by scavenging, maintaining extreme hygiene, and evading the infected masses. As tension mounts and resolve fractures, their struggle devolves into betrayal, sacrilege, and visceral body horror. The film explores how desperation and infection corrode human bonds in a town that has surrendered to parasitic rule.
