Colin's Sandwich(1988)

Colin's Sandwich is a British sitcom that aired on BBC2 across two series in 1988 and 1990. Mel Smith stars as Colin Watkins, a railway clerk harbouring ambitions to become a horror writer. Written by Paul Smith and Terry Kyan, the show follows Colin's mundane day job at British Rail and his struggles to break into the literary world. Each series contains six episodes. By the second run, Colin begins to achieve modest success as a writer, offering a glimmer of hope to his otherwise ordinary existence.
