Shades of Truth(2004)

Shades of Truth is a Hong Kong crime drama that follows Dung Chung Cho, who regains memories of his past life as Wu Song from 900 years ago after a head injury. Convinced he is TC's long-lost brother Lin Chong, Dung attempts to prove his identity while navigating a dangerous underworld. Suspicion mounts when Kwan Lo, a member of crime boss Sung Po's gang, begins to doubt Dung's loyalties and plots against his leader. As the police struggle to build cases against the triads despite mounting evidence of illegal operations and attempted murders, Dung uncovers a troubling truth: a corrupt officer within the police force is feeding information to the criminal organization. The series explores themes of identity, loyalty, and corruption as Dung walks a precarious line between worlds.
