Penance is a psychological drama series that follows Rosalie and Luke as their marriage fractures under the weight of losing their son. At a bereavement counselling group, they meet Jed, a charismatic young man navigating his own grief, who seems to offer the family a path toward healing. As Jed becomes increasingly close to Rosalie and her daughter Maddie, he reignites hope within the household. But beneath the surface, a dangerous and morally twisted dynamic begins to take hold, threatening to unravel everything they've rebuilt.
