Hotarugusa(2019)

Hotarugusa is a historical drama following Nana, a servant in the Kazahaya household who comes from a samurai lineage. Her father was forced to commit ritual suicide after being falsely accused of a crime, when he was actually about to expose corruption within the domain. When Ichinoshin, the family's heir, attempts to uncover and correct these same wrongdoings, he becomes a target himself. Nana discovers that her father's enemy orchestrated the entire conspiracy. Bound by a promise to Ichinoshin's late wife Sachi, Nana resolves to protect Ichinoshin and his children while navigating the dangerous politics of the domain and seeking justice for her family's tragedy.
