One Step Beyond is a Chinese drama series following Qi Liangsheng, a dependable taxi driver bound by duty to his mother. His life becomes entangled with Shang Tiantang, a gambling-addicted traffic policeman, and Tiantang's sister Shang Tianjiao, who develops feelings for him.
