Huo Dong Ge(1984)

Huo Dong Ge is a Chinese historical series set in the early Republic of China, when Japanese invasion threatens the nation and foreign powers dominate. Huo Dongge, son of legendary martial artist Huo Yuanjia, has abandoned his family's legacy to work as a dock porter, seeking safety in obscurity. When patriots Chen Gongzhe, Lu Yuting, and Yao Zhanbai seek him out, they urge him to revive the Jingwu Sect and restore national pride through his father's martial tradition. Despite his mother's fierce opposition, Huo Dongge feels the weight of duty and accepts the perilous mission.
