Daybreak(2019)

Daybreak is a drama series following two lifelong friends whose reckless youth sets them on a collision course with tragedy. Zhang Tianliang and Zheng Weilong have been inseparable since secondary school, but their troublemaking ways land them as runners for a loanshark operation to pay off Weilong's debt. In the process, they unknowingly cause the death of Wan An's mother, leaving her with a burning hatred for the criminal underworld. When Tianliang seriously injures someone while protecting a woman named Wen Shuying, he's imprisoned. After his release, he transforms his life and becomes a lawyer. Now both men find themselves on opposing sides of the law, their friendship tested by the consequences of choices made long ago.
