Flipped in My Youth(2018)

Flipped in My Youth is a Chinese series that follows an ordinary couple through a decade of marriage, hardship, and personal growth. In 1990s China, roadman Chen Ye pursues department store clerk Li Zhao Di with promises of emigration and wealth. She agrees to marry him, but reality quickly tests their bond. Zhao Di, accustomed to family indulgence, clashes with Chen Ye as they navigate shared life. When she sacrifices her own ambitions to support his TOEFL studies, he fails the exam and loses his job. A diagnosis of infertility compounds their crisis, leaving Zhao Di to confront whether she made a terrible mistake. The series chronicles how two flawed people learn to mature together, finding meaning beyond their original dreams.
