TV Pirata is a Brazilian comedy series that aired weekly on Rede Globo from 1988 to 1990, with reruns in 1992. The show's premise follows pirates who invade a TV studio and hijack the programming, broadcasting unconventional content that skewers Brazilian culture, politics, football, celebrities, and telenovelas with sharp, irreverent humor.
