Juusan-nin no Shikaku(2020)

Juusan-nin no Shikaku is a Japanese period drama centered on a dangerous conspiracy. When the head of the Mamiya clan takes his own life to protest the tyrannical Matsudaira—a ruthless feudal lord poised to gain greater power within the shogunate—an elderly nobleman named Doi seeks out the skilled warrior Shimada Shinzaemon. Doi believes only assassination can prevent the war that Matsudaira's rise would trigger. Though reluctant at first, Shimada assembles a trusted group of capable men to execute the plot. But as the fateful morning arrives, their carefully laid plans face unexpected complications that will test their resolve and loyalty.
