Death Valley Days is an American anthology series that dramatizes true stories from the Old West, with a focus on the Death Valley region. Created by Ruth Woodman in 1930, the program began as a radio show and ran until 1945. It returned as a syndicated television series from 1952 to 1970, with reruns airing through 1975. Sponsored by the Pacific Coast Borax Company, the series was hosted by Stanley Andrews, Ronald Reagan, Robert Taylor, and Dale Robertson. Each episode presents a different historical account, capturing the hardships, discoveries, and adventures of frontier life. The show became a beloved fixture of American television, bringing authentic Western history to audiences across the country during its two-decade run on screen.
