Horimiya(2021)

Horimiya is a romantic comedy series about two high school students living double lives. Hori appears to be the perfect, popular girl at school, but at home she's blunt and lazy. Miyamura presents himself as a quiet loner, yet he's actually kind-hearted beneath his piercings and tattoos. When they discover each other's secrets by chance, an unexpected connection forms between them. As they spend more time together, both begin to show sides of themselves they've hidden from everyone else. The series follows their growing relationship as they navigate the gap between their public personas and private selves, exploring themes of acceptance, vulnerability, and genuine connection. What starts as a chance meeting becomes something neither of them expected.
