Search and Rescue(1977)

Search and Rescue is a family adventure series that aired during the 1977–1978 season as a co-production between Canada's CTV and NBC. The show follows Dr. Bob Donell and his two children, Katy and Jim, who lead a specialized rescue team with an unusual edge: they deploy trained animals to handle emergencies. From birds to dogs, each creature is equipped for specific rescue scenarios. Michael J. Reynolds stars as the team leader navigating dangerous situations with animal assistance. Though 26 episodes were produced, NBC cancelled the American run after just thirteen installments, while the series found longer life in Canadian broadcasts and international syndication.
