The Judy Garland Show(1963)

The Judy Garland Show is an American musical variety series that aired on CBS during the 1963–1964 season. Garland, reluctant to commit to weekly television, saw the show as her path out of severe financial trouble. Production chaos plagued the series from the start: three different producers oversaw its 26 episodes, and the format shifted from comedy-variety to nearly pure concert performances. Though critics praised Garland herself, the initial variety format and co-star Jerry Van Dyke drew mixed responses. Competing against the hugely popular Bonanza, the show struggled in the ratings despite fan efforts to save it. CBS cancelled it after one season, and TV Guide later named it among 60 series "Cancelled Too Soon.
