Cimarron Strip(1967)

Cimarron Strip is a Western series that aired on CBS from September 1967 to March 1968, starring Stuart Whitman as Marshal Jim Crown. Produced by the creators of Gunsmoke, the show stands out as one of only three 90-minute weekly Westerns of the 1960s and the sole 90-minute series centered on a single lead character. Set in the Oklahoma Panhandle in 1888, Cimarron Strip captures the final chapter of the American frontier, when the continuous stretch of wild land that once spanned from Canada to Mexico was rapidly disappearing. Marshal Crown faces the challenges of maintaining order in a landscape on the brink of transformation, where civilization and lawlessness collide. The series aired reruns during the summer of 1971.
