Queen of Beggars is an Iranian drama following Alborz Shams, a man living in Germany who returns to his homeland for his father's funeral. Upon arrival, he discovers that Iran knows him only as Farhad Babaei—a stranger to everyone he once knew, including Sara, the woman he loved. Caught between his German identity and the life he left behind, Alborz struggles to reconnect with a past that has moved on without him. The series explores themes of displacement, memory, and the painful distance that time and emigration create between a man and his origins. As he navigates the gap between who he was and who he's become, Alborz must confront whether returning home can ever truly restore what was lost.
