E's Otherwise(2003)

E's Otherwise is a Japanese anime series following Kai Kudou, a young psychic recruited by the shadowy organization Ashurum to fight other gifted individuals. After a disastrous mission, Kai escapes and finds refuge with Yuuki and his adopted sister Asuka, beginning to question everything Ashurum has told him. As he uncovers the organization's true intentions, Kai grows increasingly desperate—his own sister remains trapped under their control, and he fears what they might do to her. The twenty-six-episode shōnen series, produced by Studio Pierrot, aired in Japan from April to September 2003. Blending action with psychological intrigue, E's Otherwise explores themes of loyalty, deception, and the cost of power among those gifted with extraordinary abilities.
