Mr. District Attorney(1954)

Mr. District Attorney is a crime drama series that originated on radio, airing on NBC and ABC from 1939 to 1952 before transitioning to television. The show follows an unnamed crusading district attorney—called only "Mister District Attorney" or "Chief" on radio—as he pursues justice through the legal system. When adapted for television, the character gained a name: Paul Garrett. In the radio drama's final years, actor David Brian took on the role and adopted the television name. Throughout the series, the D.A.'s capable secretary Edith Miller plays a crucial supporting part in the investigations and courtroom battles that drive each episode's narrative.
