Don't Call It Mystery(2022)

Don't Call It Mystery is a Japanese series following Kuno Totono, a university student known for questioning social conventions and constructing elaborate theories. When a classmate is murdered in a nearby park, police suspect Totono and bring him in for questioning. Rather than cooperate, Totono manipulates the interrogation, digressing constantly and exposing contradictions in the officers' logic. He even offers unsolicited personal advice, turning the tables on his interrogators. The tension escalates when Totono's fingerprints are found on the murder weapon, forcing him to defend himself against mounting evidence. The series blends mystery with dark comedy as this brilliant but eccentric protagonist navigates suspicion and proves his innocence through sheer wit and psychological insight.
