News at Twelve is a 1988 British children's comedy series that follows 12-year-old Kevin Doyle as he delivers nightly news bulletins about his everyday life. The show's title plays on Kevin's age rather than any actual broadcast time. His comic reports are frequently interrupted by his lovable basset hound, Baxter, who steals scenes with his deadpan antics.
