He Is Good and Bad Is Me is a Japanese comedy series set in Shonan Theater, a dumping ground for struggling comedians and entertainers with troubled pasts. Tokiura, a comedian haunted by a mysterious incident that got him exiled to the island, arrives at the shabby venue where duo Amagen performs skits to nearly empty rooms. Backstage, other performers like Jatani and Shima ignore the show entirely, gambling on card games instead. When Tokiura appears, Jatani relentlessly presses him about the "certain incident" that destroyed his career. The series captures the desperation and dark humor of washed-up entertainers clinging to their craft in a forgotten theater, where past secrets and present chaos collide.
