I Love Bekka & Lucy(2017)

I Love Bekka & Lucy is a comedy series about two best friends whose perfectly insulated life in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, gets disrupted when a new neighbor moves in and Lucy's boyfriend proposes. Bekka and Lucy have built an intentionally quiet existence together, complete with backyard chickens and carefully timed pool visits designed to avoid other people. Their self-contained world—where they're each other's favorite people—suddenly faces pressure from the outside. The show explores what happens when life's unexpected moments force this devoted pair to confront change, commitment, and the limits of their cozy isolation.
