The Royal Fire is a Thai drama centered on Prince Burakham, who remains unmarried despite his appointment as "Phra Nang Nhor Chao Luang"—a position equivalent to crown prince under royal decree. When a monk named Sekkhon Devi is elevated to the same title, palace intrigue erupts. The monarch's daughter, sent to Muang Thip as a political guarantee, grows resentful, knowing she'll never become Empress under the new arrangement. Royal protocol clashes with personal ambition as competing claims to power threaten the kingdom's stability. Caught between duty and desire, the characters navigate a world where succession and honor demand impossible choices.
