Levyraati(2024)

Levyraati is a Finnish television series that aired from 1961 to 2005, adapting the British format Juke Box Jury. Originally broadcast on YLE before moving to MTV3 in 1992, the show invited celebrity panels to rate music recordings and videos on a scale of 1 to 10. With four panelists, the highest possible score was 40, and the winning track would be performed during the closing credits. Jaakko Jahnukainen hosted initially, but Jukka Virtanen became the show's most recognizable host from 1980 onwards. After a five-year break, Levyraati returned in 2002 with hosts Raakel Lignell and Ruben Stiller before entering an indefinite hiatus in 2005. The program became a cultural fixture in Finnish entertainment, blending music discovery with celebrity opinion.
