Just Love II(2009)

Just Love II is a Hong Kong drama series that follows KO HEI MAN, an ambitious magistrate who believes the law applies equally to all. Supported by her devoted husband KOT KWOK KWONG, she focuses entirely on her career while he manages their household and her demanding mother-in-law. MAN's confidence in the justice system is tested when she befriends HO SAU SAU, a woman with mental health struggles. Inviting her into their home, MAN's compassion backfires as SAU gradually assumes her roles as wife and mother. When KWONG suffers a serious car accident, the fragile balance of their family unravels. The series explores how personal relationships complicate professional ideals, and how good intentions can have devastating consequences when applied without nuance or foresight.
