Jupiter Moon is a British science fiction series that aired on Galaxy Channel from March to December 1990. Set in 2050, the show follows life aboard the spaceship Ilea, which orbits above a space city on Jupiter's moon Callisto. The vessel serves as home to a university, and much of the drama centers on its student population navigating relationships, ambitions, and everyday conflicts despite their extraordinary setting. A parallel storyline tracks the ambitious Daedalus Project, an attempt to reach distant stars. Originally commissioned as a soap opera to air three times weekly, Jupiter Moon ran for 108 broadcast episodes out of 150 produced, blending intimate character-driven storytelling with hard science fiction concepts.
