On Safari(1982)

On Safari is a children's game show series set in a jungle environment that aired on ITV from 1982 to 1984 across four series. Hosted by Christopher Biggins, the show featured co-host Gillian Taylforth (later known for EastEnders) during its first season, alongside her sister Kim in early episodes. The series was produced by TVS and recorded at their Southampton studios, though the first season was actually filmed in 1981 when the facilities were still operated by Southern Television. TVS rented the space from Southern for that inaugural run, and some early broadcasts show cameras marked with generic On Safari branding rather than the production company's own insignia.
