The Freedom Force(1978)

The Freedom Force is a 1978 animated series from Filmation that aired on CBS as part of the Tarzan and the Super 7 block. The show follows Isis, a superhero who assembles a global team to battle evil forces. Though Isis previously starred in the live-action series The Secrets of Isis, actress Joanna Cameron did not return for the animated version. The Freedom Force represents a brief experiment in the superhero team format, with only five episodes produced before the series ended. It remains a curiosity of late-1970s Saturday morning television, blending action-adventure with the ensemble superhero concept that would become more prominent in later decades.
