Mama The Idol is a South Korean reality series that gives former K-Pop stars a second chance to perform. The show follows three retired idols—Sun Ye from Wonder Girls, Kahi from After School, and Park Jung A from Jewelry—as they step back into the spotlight. Each woman left the industry years ago to pursue different paths: Sun Ye retired after marriage, Kahi relocated to Bali, and Park Jung A moved on to other ventures. Now, driven by their passion for performance, they reunite to train and compete as idols once more. The series captures their journey as they reclaim the stage and rediscover what made them fall in love with K-Pop in the first place.
