Dark App is a Thai series that explores the dark side of technology through two competing platforms. Ploy and Khing launch "Ally," an app designed to connect people in need with qualified volunteers willing to help with anything from childbirth to pest control. Initially driven by genuine altruism, the app becomes corrupted as users exploit it for social media clout. Meanwhile, Gear and Max create "FOEman," a shadowy counterpart that matches people to inflict punishment, from harmless pranks to genuine threats. As both apps gain traction, their popularity spirals beyond control, forcing users and creators alike to confront the consequences of unchecked digital power. The series examines how technology meant to unite can divide, and how good intentions can be weaponized in the age of social media.
