City is an American sitcom that aired on CBS for six months in 1990. The series marked Valerie Harper's return to television following her legal victory against the producers of her previous NBC sitcom Valerie. Created by Paul Haggis and executive produced by Harper's husband Tony Cacciotti, City gave the acclaimed actress a fresh starring role after her earlier dismissal dispute was resolved. The show ran from January through June 1990, representing another collaboration between Harper and Cacciotti in the sitcom format.
