Out of This World(1987)

Out of This World is an American fantasy sitcom following a teenage girl who discovers she's half alien and possesses extraordinary supernatural powers. The series aired in syndication from 1987 to 1991, initially part of NBC's Prime Time Begins at 7:30 campaign, a programming experiment designed to counter competing game shows and reruns in the 7:30–8 pm slot. The show rotated with other sitcoms during its first season before finding stronger audience traction than most of its counterparts. After the network ended the experiment, Out of This World shifted to weekend time slots, where it remained until cancellation following its fourth season. The series became a cult favorite among viewers drawn to its blend of comedy and sci-fi elements.
