Guys follows five childhood friends—Ma Zhiwu, He Tiejun, Zhou Xiaoliang, Yuan Man, and Chang Ruixue—as they navigate middle age. Their personalities, forged by years of shared memories and vastly different family circumstances, continue to define how they relate to one another and face life's challenges. The series explores the bonds that persist when people grow apart, examining how the foundation laid in youth shapes who we become. Each character carries the weight of their upbringing into adulthood, creating both connection and tension within the group. As they confront the complexities of their present lives, the show reveals how childhood friendships endure—and sometimes strain—under the pressures of maturity and changing circumstances.
