Anjo de Mim(1996)

Anjo de Mim is a Brazilian series exploring spiritualism through past-life regression. Floriano Ferraz, a skeptical sculptor plagued by shoulder pain and haunting visions of a dying woman, seeks help from psychiatrist Ulisses. Through regression therapy, he discovers he was Lieutenant Belmiro in 1880s Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, hopelessly in love with Valentina, a woman trapped in an unhappy marriage. When Valentina attempts to flee with Belmiro, she's struck by a sword and falls from a mansion's third floor, dying in his arms. Before her death, she promises to find him again in another lifetime. The revelation transforms Floriano completely, compelling him to abandon his current life and girlfriend Antônia to chase a connection that transcends time itself.
