The Mata's Family(2011)

The Mata's Family is a Portuguese comedy series about a couple forced into close quarters with chaos. Paulo and Susana dream of buying their first home together, but when Susana's father Artur can't deliver the promised down payment, he offers them his attic instead. What should be a fresh start becomes a nightmare as the couple finds themselves living with seven eccentric family members who meddle constantly in their lives. The Mata household is a pressure cooker of competing personalities and clashing wills. Susana must navigate her loving but dysfunctional relatives while Paulo struggles to adapt to the madness surrounding him. As tensions mount in their cramped shared space, the couple discovers that building a life together means surviving the family that comes with it.
