Sunnyside Farm(1997)

Sunnyside Farm is a 1997 BBC comedy series about two brothers who inherit a struggling farm. Ray, a scheming and unlikeable character played by Phil Daniels, plots to have his brother Ken committed to a mental institution so he can sell the property and live lavishly. Ken, though not particularly bright, proves to have more integrity than his sibling. The series features Matt Lucas and Michael Kitchen in supporting roles. The show's theme was written and performed by Damon Albarn and Phil Daniels, though credited to Blur, Albarn's band. The comedy mines dark humour from Ray's increasingly desperate attempts to exploit his brother and the farm's deteriorating circumstances.
