Darna(2009)

Darna is a Philippine drama-fantasy series starring Marian Rivera as the titular superheroine and her civilian alter-ego Narda. Adapted from Mars Ravelo's classic graphic novels, the show follows Darna as she battles her arch-nemesis Valentina (Iwa Moto) and faces off against four other villains from Ravelo's original creations. The cast includes Dennis Trillo and Mark Anthony Fernandez in supporting roles. Directed by Dominic Zapata and Don Michael Perez, this third Darna series adaptation aired on GMA Network from August 2009 to February 2010, spanning 140 episodes across two seasons.
