The Wrong Coast(2003)

The Wrong Coast is a Canadian stop-motion animated series that parodies Hollywood gossip culture with fake celebrity news, satirical features, and movie spoofs featuring the voices of real stars. The show mimics the style of entertainment tabloid programs, blending sharp humor with elaborate puppet animation. They Might Be Giants performs the theme song. Produced by Blueprint Entertainment, Cuppa Coffee Studios, and Curious Pictures, the series premiered on The Movie Network in Canada in April 2004 after a planned U.S. debut on AMC fell through. Teletoon subsequently rebroadcast the show across Canada, and a French-dubbed version titled La Côte Ouest also aired on Télétoon. Despite its inventive premise and distinctive animation style, The Wrong Coast ended after a single season with no further episodes produced or announced.
