La Recta Provincia(2007)

La Recta Provincia is a Chilean series that begins when a man living with his mother in the countryside discovers a bone flute buried in their garden. Playing the instrument unleashes a haunting voice that compels him to search for the remaining bones of a scattered skeleton. Driven by faith and duty, the man and his mother embark on a spiritual journey through the Chilean landscape, seeking to give the bones a Christian burial. Their quest becomes a vessel for witnessing and experiencing profound stories—encounters with the sacred and profane that reshape their understanding of faith, mortality, and community. Though they speak of nothing, their experiences ripple outward, told and retold by others who learn of their strange pilgrimage.
